POSTED ON February 15, 2024 •   ENTERTAINMENT      BY Ebiakuboere England

TurnTable Charts makes a list of the most streamed Nigerian artists for the year 2023 and shares it on their social media platforms.

TurnTable charts is a catalog of relative weekly and yearly popular songs in Nigeria. The results are published in TurnTable magazine. TurnTable provides additional weekly charts, as well as the End of the Year Top 50.

Asake, a popular artist, currently leads the list with over 600 million streams across all platforms.

However, since he released his hit single 'Omo Ope', Asake has achieved massive commercial success, catapulting him to superstar status.

Asake has received 654 million plays across Apple Music, Boomplay, Spotify, and YouTube since the release of his sophomore album, while his initial album continues to receive streams.

The singer's list-topping achievement is a reflection of the phenomenal 2023 he had thanks to the publication of his tremendously successful sophomore album 'Work of Art,' which featured the hit singles 'Amapiano', '2:30', 'Basquiat', and 'Lonely At The Top'.

However, Seyi Vibez, who has released two albums and two EPs, is ranked second on the list with 533 million streams.

While hitmaker and Grammy nominee Davido, who broke records with his fourth album "Timeless," sits at number three on the list with 328 streams.
