Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Sanwo-Olu, emphasized the need for collaboration within the public sector to benefit the citizens during his address at the 30th anniversary of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group at the Lagos Business School.

Reflecting on its history, he praised the visionaries who established NESG to facilitate ongoing dialogue and collaboration between the two sectors, with the aim of fostering a thriving and competitive Nigerian economy.
The governor emphasized the importance of working together to maximize opportunities.
He also pointed out that while progress has been made, there is still room for improvement. Setting goals to inspire and motivate the nation is essential, even if timelines are not always met.
The Chairman of the Nigeria Economic Summit Group Board of Directors, Niyi Yusuf, expressed the group's commitment to collaborating with the private sector and the international community.
He highlighted the significance of working with all levels of government, the private sector, and the international community to drive Nigeria towards a more resilient, inclusive, and prosperous future.
Yusuf also emphasized the critical role of NESG's vision, mission, and mandate in the country.
