The Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, has affirmed a winning situation for the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State as the party participates in the forthcoming local government election in the state.
He made this known shortly after meeting party leaders, state executive council members, and the chairmanship and councillorship candidates for the council poll, at the state party secretariat, Oke-Ado in Ibadan, the state capital.
According to him, “The APC will win local government elections in this state. We have agreed to go for the election. We will not abandon or boycott the election. BVAS or not.
“We discussed generally about progress of the party, now that the party has come together as one again. The party is back and we have what it takes to win any election in the state today.”
The minister, therefore, appealed to the aggrieved party members to come back to the fold of the party and forge a formidable team so as to achieve victory during the coming election.
