Veteran Nollywood actress, Halima Abubakar became emotional as she described her long battle with a strange ailment.
The actress posted a video on her Instagram page claiming that only she truly understands what she has been through with her sickness.
She expressed her earnest appreciation to everyone who helped her without criticism, judgment, or condemnation.
Through tears, she explained that, while the disease felt like a punishment from the devil, God used it to teach her a lesson and make her grateful for life.
According to the actress, she had to use a filter to make her face look better in the video she created and released.
Halima clarified that she wasn’t seeking pity but wanted to appreciate her Maker for sustaining her through the terrible illness, one she wouldn’t wish upon anyone.
